| Abstract | We have obtained CCD images of the Galactic globular cluster NGC 6584 during three separate observing runs at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory. These have been used to construct a (V,B-V) color-magnitude diagram which extends to ~2 magnitudes below the main sequence turnoff. This diagram reveals a well-defined red giant branch and a horizontal branch populated on both sides of the RR Lyrae instability strip... |
