Abstract | BVI CCD photometry for about 1700 stars in the galactic globular cluster Terzan 7 has been performed yielding the first color-magnitude diagram for this stellar system. Terzan 7 is the third object, in addiction to Palomar 12 and Ruprecht 106, located at galactocentric distance ranging between 20 and 40 Kpc, appearing younger than other typical globulars by about 4-5 Gyr. There is evidence of a relationship between the presence of Blue Stragglers stars and the number of red Horizontal Branch stars. |
