| Abstract | A new color magnitude diagram (CMD) for the globular cluster NGC 6541 has been obtained from 379 stars measured photographically, calibrated from a photoelectric sequence of 20 stars to a limiting magnitude of V=16.3. The main CMD features are: a rather steep, giant branch, a group of only blue horizontal branch stars and the presence of an asymptotic branch.
